WHY AN ACCOUNT WITH HOPING.PL?
An e-mail account with HomeNet, which is the server where
HOPING.PL is located, has been chosen by over 50 thousand Polish
and foreign web surfers. This figure certainly says something about
the service. So why is it that so many people are choosing such an
account?

Firstly — the capacity - 100 MB. There is enough space to run
extensive and varied correspondence and enough space so that mail
will not be able to get blocked up.

Secondly — Unlimited mail size allows you to send and receive
huge attachments without the need of sending them in many parts to
get the attachment through.

Thirdly — Protection against spam (unwanted mail of any kind)
and commercial advertisements. We have reduced the possibility of
receiving unwanted to mail to a minimum.

Fourthly — A 14 day trial run. We are not ashamed of our service.
The option to close an account is always open, but we believe that

WHAT DOES AN E-MAIL ADDRESS CONSIST OF?
An e-mail address is made up of two parts: a name — the part before
the @ (at) and the domain, the part after the @. The name of an
account with HOPING.PL can have from 3-15 characters containing
letters of the Latin alphabet, figures or signs (-) minus, (_)
underline or (.) full stop. The domain name can be made up of the
following options: hoping.pl or jesus-online.com.
Your address will consist of the two previously mentioned parts and
in a moment you can choose your easy-to-remember e-mail address, for
example: your_name@hoping.pl ! [ ]
CAPACITY
100 MB
100 MB of space is allotted for every e-mail account registered with
nadzieja.pl. Because of this feature you don’t have to worry if
there is enough space for the program your friend wants to send you
or for the newest price list from the company you work for.
AN ACCOUNT WITH THE SERVER POP3/SMTP
By e-mail you can send and receive any program, using POP3 (protocol
receiving post form the server) and SMTP (protocol sending post to
the server). All of our users recommend the newest Polish (or
English) version Outlook Express which is part of an internet
explorer package (available on CDs that come free with computer
magazines), and also the new version of Windows (98/98Me/NT/2000/XP).
EASY-TO-REMEMBER ADDRESS
During registration you can choose any account name using from 3-15
characters which can be letters, signs or numbers. The user can also
choose one of the possible domain names such as: hoping.pl,
hoping.org.pl, jezus-online.com, jezus-online.net
or jezus-online.org. Remember: „jezus” not „jesus”. []
BEING INFORMED ABOUT NEW INCOMING MAIL (e.g. on a mobile phone)
If you posses a mobile phone or a pager with an operator, which has
your gate on the internet, you can receive information informing you
about the new e-mails in your e-mail account. This feature means
that you do not have to check to see if you have received any new
e-mails every couple of hours. From the moment a new letter arrives
in your account you will be automatically informed about it. There
are two possible options with the present service. The standard
option informs you about the first ten e-mails in your inbox (10 is
the daily limit in Poland). The subscriber receives the following
information: the e-mail address, the title of the message as well as
the first few words of the e-mail. This basic version is available
to subscribers of: PlusGSM, EraGSM and Idea (including prepaid card
users). There are no extra fees for this service. To activate this
service simply fill in the nine digit mobile telephone number in the
application form.
The expanded version — informs the user of every incoming
e-mail (with the exception of discussion e-mails). The e-mail
addresses, subjects and, in the case of text mail, the first words
of the e-mail are sent to the user. This expanded version is
available to the subscribers of Plus GSM, EraGSM, Idea, MetroBip,
EasyCall and Polpager (including prepaid cards).
The expanded version requires the use of a GSM operator e-mail
address-SMS (with most companies this is not a free service and will
only be carried out on the client’s orders). To activate this
service the SMS address must be filled out in the application form.
Information on the use of this address, cost, rules and regulations
can be found in the customer services of specific GSM operators.
ATTENTION: This service depends on the use of telecommunication gate
operators. HOPING.PL doesn’t take any responsibility for the
incorrect use or intentional action of certain operators.
THE
POSSIBILITY OF AN E-MAIL ACCOUNT THROUGH WWW (accessible everywhere
in the world)
Apart from the possibility of using a specific e-mail program it is
also possible to use any WWW service. You can have access to this
service if you fill in the special section in the application form
for an e-mail account. With this
SERVICE
it is possible to quickly check ones inbox on any computer, without
having to configuration the e-mail program, just using the WWW service.
This service makes possible the viewing and downloading of any
attachments and the erasing of chosen e-mails from the server.
Because of this it is possible to quickly and effectively unblock a
mail box that is clogged up with large pieces of mail. []
THE OPTION OF FORWARDING MAIL TO ANOTHER E-MAIL ADDRESS
This function makes possible the direct forwarding of e-mails to
another address. The direct forwarding is complete and no copy is
made and mixed up in your in-box. The mail is just directly
forwarded to the given address.
ANTIVIRUS SCANNER
This function scans the incoming and outgoing mail and makes
possible the restriction of e-mails going in or out that have a
known virus. We do recommend installing additional antivirus
programming on your computer.
AUTORESPONDER
This function makes possible informing interested person that we can
not read e-mail. Autoresponder receive e-mail automatically from
anybody, except of message from discussion lists. This is useful if
we have to leave our place for a long time and we will not check
e-mail account regularly.
NO
COMMERCIAL ADVERTISEMENTS AND PROTECTION AGAINST SPAM (any unwanted
mail)
We don’t send any advertisements to our clients or likewise make
their data (i.e. e-mail address) available to any other companies.
We protect our clients from spam — unwanted mail. Multi-level spam
programs are installed on the server and automatically block most
advertisements. Each user can make the choice if they want to block
advertisements or not.
UNLIMITED MAIL SIZE
The programming of our server SMTP does not limit the size of single
pieces of mail. Without any problem a piece of mail can be sent
greater than 10 MB. But when sending letters through the service of
another provider than that of NADZIEJA.PL, there may be limits
enforced. []
